Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc. said Thursday it received a contract for advertising in and on Seattle-area buses operated by Community Transit.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Under terms of the contract, Clear Channel Outdoor said it will market and sell interior and exterior advertising space on 270 Community Transit buses, which link Snohomish County with downtown Seattle, the University of Washington and Seattle’s Eastside suburbs.
Last year, Community Transit buses provided 9.1 million passenger rides.
“The addition of bus advertising in a number of markets has added highly valuable supplemental coverage that enhances our already strong billboard presence in those markets,” said Paul Meyer, Clear Channel Outdoor’s global president. Clear Channel Outdoor has more than 881,000 displays in more than 60 countries.
