The application, called Audio, allowed users to upload MP3 files and share them with their friends–yup, that’s a recipe for copyright disaster. Audio had been created by a single developer, not an existing company.

    Meanwhile the social networking site has doubled its ad rates since February, according to the Valleywag blog, upping sponsorship rates from $150,000 to $300,000.
