When the Fox Business Network debuts Oct. 15, the anchor lineup will include faces already familiar to viewers of Fox News Channel.
Fox News Executive VP Kevin Magee on Wednesday announced a quintet of anchor choices: David Asman, who hosts “Forbes on Fox” on Fox News weekends; FNC business unit correspondent Cheryl Casone; founding FNC business correspondent Rebecca Gomez, a frequent contributor to “Your World With Neil Cavuto” and the Saturday Fox News “Cost of Freedom” business block; business news correspondent Dagen McDowell, a regular on “Your World” and weekend show “Cashin’ In”; and Stuart Varney, the CNBC alumnus who substitutes on “Your World” for Mr. Cavuto.
Mr. Magee also said Fox Business will call on Fox News business anchors Brenda Buttner of “Bulls and Bears” and Terry Keenan, business correspondent and anchor of “Cashin’ In.”
All will retain their Fox News roles.
The new channel is launching with commitments for some 30 million cable subscribers.
