The free iTunes download this week is a song called “Bombs Away” by a band called Paris Texas. The Madison, Wisconsin rockers’ latest album, Like You Like An Arsonist, is full of chunky guitar riffs from Nick Zinkgraf , vocals from Nolan Treolo breaking point beats from drummer Sam Vinz. Together they deliver their musical ordnance with pounding post-punk precision. It’s hard to believe Paris Texas were considered emo at one point.
