Have you ever seen 40 wild birds play a Gibson Les Paul guitar before? No? Neither had we until we found this clip on the BBC. The video of zebra finch birds playing guitar is part of an art installation by a contemporary French artist Celeste Boursier-Mougenot.
Birds Playing Guitar?!
The 40 birds are in a glass-walled room with grass, a little drinking pond, and Les Paul electric guitars hooked up to an amplifier. The guitars are frequent landing position for the zebra finches and each time one of them touches the strings, the guitars make noise.
If you have a few mins then check out the video of the birds playing guitar. Our favorite part is when one bird almost does a guitar solo using a twig.

If this is true it is really very amazing but it is hard to believe.
