NBC remains hot on Monday, capturing the night in key demos again this week thanks to high-end deliveries from hot rookie drama “Heroes” and hit gameshow “Deal or No Deal.”
According to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, “Deal or No Deal” (5.2/13 in 18-49, 17.6 million viewers overall) dominated the 8 o’clock hour by matching its second-best demo score of the fall. “Heroes” followed with a 6.7/16 in 18-49 and 15.5 million viewers overall, off slightly from the previous week’s series-best number and easily leading its time period. Net fell off at 10, though, with “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” (3.3/8 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall).
CBS, runner-up on the night in most key categories, was paced as usual by “CSI: Miami” (5.6/14 in 18-49, 16.9 million viewers overall) and “Two and a Half Men” (4.8/11 in 18-49, 15.6 million viewers overall). Opening-hour laffers “How I Met Your Mother” (3.5/9 in 18-49, 9.9 million viewers overall) and “The Class” (3.1/8 in 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall) were both up week to week, while 9:30 skein “The New Adventures of Old Christine” was flat (3.7/8 in 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall).
