Entertainment Network (India) Ltd. plans to raise its advertising rates by 25 percent for 7 of its radio stations from September 1, a company official said on Thursday.
The company’s 7 stations are in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Indore and Ahmedabad.
Advertising rates would also be increased by 10 percent at its three new stations in Bangalore, Jaipur and Hyderabad, Dalpat R. Jain, business analyst, finance, said.
“If you look at the Indian industry, generally media advertising is quite high during this festive season,” he said.
Shares in the company rose almost 6 percent to 248.40 rupees in a firm Mumbai market.
