Bad news if you had the HomePod, Apple‘s new smart speaker on your Christmas list. It won’t be ready in time for the holidays. Apple has delayed the release of the HomePod to early 2018.
Apple first announced the HomePod device in June 2017, at its worldwide developer conference. At the time, the company said the device would ship by December. The HomePod is positioned to compete the Amazon Echo and Google Home. Expected retail price is $349.
