Sorry TV fans, the Emmy nominations are in the shadows. Today marks a far more anticipated announcement. LeBron, LeBron, LeBron. As of tonight, he’s a free agent. So where will he go?

What team will LeBron play for next?
Just where will the NBA phenom land? Could the New York Knicks possibly hit the jackpot? Will the Cleveland Cavaliers welcome their prodigal child back home? Or are the soothsayers out there correct that the Miami Heat is favorite to win him over?
Time will tell. 9 p.m. Eastern Time, to be exact.
LeBron James Twitter Mania
LeBron James is milking every last bit of press possible from the guessing game that has basketball fans holding their breath. And though it’s a bit absurd, why the hell not. Must be good to be king — King James, of course. His Highness opened a “King James” Twitter account two days ago, and in mere 48-ish hours has racked up over 300,000 followers hoping to crack some kind of code in his Tweets and beat ESPN to the punch. Not likely, since James plans to disclose all in a full one-hour special running tonight at 9 on the network.
Also unlikely because he has posted a measly four Tweets so far, from which I’ve determined pretty much nothing — save his wake-up time, which appears to be 5:58 a.m., though I can’t guarantee it’s date stamped Cleveland time. So basically, it says nothing. We’ll just have to wait like the rest of the world. I’m expecting a zillion viewers and a drawn-out tease from 9 – 9:58 with a dramatic unveiling in the final minute.
Long Lost Dad?
In other LeBron news, some dude is suing James and his mom for $4 million because he claims to be LeBron’s long-lost dad. This royal circus is getting out of hand.
UPDATE: Miami it is!!
