A Society Of Addicted Smartphone Users
The series of ads play on just how entranced and fixated our society has become on our mobile devices. Beach-goers lay on the sand glued to their phones. A masseuse multi-tasks while with a client. A sexy woman in lingerie is ignored by her significant other as he checks his phone. All the while asking “Really?” and suggesting that it’s time for a phone to save us from our phones.
Do You Like The Windows Phone Ads?
I may be ridiculed by my Mac-loving friends for saying this, but I actually dig the campaign. Technology’s great, but I’m also a believer that the best things in life are offline. And yes, this is coming from someone who owns an iPhone 4. At the very least, Microsoft is trying something different. And that’s enough to pique my curiosity about the phone itself.
Speaking of which, has anyone tried it?
