It sounds like a tongue twister: Tommy’s Tactical Pants puts your iPad in your pocket…
Tacticalpants.com has this photo of a new pair of pants dawning an oversized pocket. One that you can put in larger items, like an iPad.
Then again, you could also put in your keys, wallet, peanut butter sandwich (or two), a regular book, another tablet, a netbook or whatever else you can think of.
One problem I can see with these pants is if you put more weight into them, they will fall down easier. Even with a belt on, you might find yourself “hiking” up your pants just to keep your hands free of iPads.
If you don’t have that problem, then these pants might be for you. They are not out yet, but I would guess they are going to sell around the $50 – $63 mark, as the other pants Blackhawk sells are worth.
Tacticalpants.com makes clothing for law enforcement and public workers. These are pants and shorts that have extra needs, such as a place to put larger items like an iPad.
Therefore, if your friend says “I’m not getting an iPad because it won’t fit in a pocket”, just show them these pants. It might get them to buy an iPad…
