The guys from the Slow Mo Guys on YouTube were able to destroy a CD by rotating it at extreme speed. They used a dismantled vacuum motor to get the CD to rotate at such an extreme speed and recorded it in extreme slow motion — 28,500fps or 1140x slower than real-time. You can see the CD start to warble before losing the ability to stay together and then completely explode. Does that count as “warp speed”?
