Over the years I’ve gotten a few bobbleheads as gifts. Mr. T, The Terminator and even Austin Powers currently stand guard over my desk. At one point someone at work asked me if I collected bobbleheads like Dwight Schrute from The Office (US).
I’ve watched the Office but didn’t realize Dwight collected bobbleheads. So I did a Wikipedia search on Dwight. His bobbleheads include former Philadelphia Phillies catcher Mike Lieberthal, former Phillies firstbaseman and Baseball Tonight co-host John Kruk. Dwight also has a personalized bobblehead that Angela gave him for Valentine’s Day. After that episodeI guess the Dwight bobblehead was so successful
Dwight : What’s this? What is this?
Jim : I don’t know. It’s on your desk.
Dwight : Yeah, but who put it here and for what purpose?
Jim : It was there when I sat down.
Dwight : [Opens the package and reads the enclosed card] Happy Valentine’s Day. It’s me. I’m the bobble-head. Yes!
