Turner Broadcasting System’s GameTap broadband-entertainment network added enhanced parental controls and new kid-friendly entertainment and educational games.
The programmer said the new filtering feature enables parents to select games and content appropriate for each member in the family.
And educational titles now available via GameTap include Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego, Putt Putt, Jump Start, Clue Finders, Mighty Math, Lego and Math Blaster.
“While the kids are having a ball choosing from the hundreds of available games and programs, mom and dad have complete peace of mind knowing that they have the flexibility to tailor the content for their children,” GameTap senior vice president and general manager Stuart Snyder said in a prepared statement.
