Even though JJ Abrams‘ new Star Wars movie isn’t due to be released until Christmas 2015, the Disney PR machine isn’t wasting any time in building buzz around the film. An official Star Wars Instagram account launched yesterday with a Darth Vader selfie photo. The obviously Photoshopped picture appears to have an image from the opening scene from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in the background.
The Instagram is just the latest in Disney’s efforts to get everyone talking about the new upcoming Star Wars film. Between drama with the writing team and little things like Star Wars iOS games (Tiny Death Star), Star Wars has been constantly in the news lately.
