Liquid bromine is a very dangerous and toxic chemical. It’s used in things like pesticides and gasoline additives. When bromine is combined with aluminum, for example the metal cover on the back of an iPhone 6s, chemical violence, fire and smoke result. The iPhone did not survive. Don’t try this at home.
