LAUREN BERGERNBC has taken two gold and one silver medal in the Olympic Golden Rings, international kudos to honor Olympics coverage.
Kudos, presented in Lausanne, Switzerland, by the Intl. Olympic Committee, is held every two years.
NBC won gold for Olympic feature and athletes’ profiles for its coverage of the XX Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy, earlier this year.
A silver metal in the Olympic feature category went to Seven Network Australia, with bronze going to YLE Finnish Broadcasting Co.
Silver and bronze for athletes’ profiles went to Eurosport Intl. and NOS Television, respectively.
NBC also won a silver award in the Olympic program category, where it was beaten by Seven Network Australia and followed by Canadian Broadcasting Corp.
In the sports coverage category, gold went to SRG Switzerland, followed by YLE and Oz’s Seven.
