While the East Coast digs its way out of blizzard remains (bundle up wisely, please), photos of winter wonderlands keep surfacing online. Better than igloos and Times Square skiers, however, is this lovely little gem of a movie made by New York filmmaker Jamie Stuart. Editing together images of the epic snowfall and accompanied by Trent Reznor music featured in The Social Network, he takes the rest of the country through a virtual version of the storm in Idiot With a Tripod.
You’ll be glad you had no car to dig out or no dog to walk — unless, of course, you did. In which case, enjoy reliving it here: Idiot With a Tripod Relives Great Blizzard of 2010
