Apple Announces iCloud, OS X Lion and iOS 5 at WWDC 2011
At WWDC 2011 Steve Jobs announced several new Apple software products including a new service called iCloud, which allows consumers to store their files on "cloud" based servers on the Internet instead of on their own computer hard drives or mobile phones. Jobs showcased the service, as well as the company's new mobile operating system iOS 5 and Macintosh desktop operating system, Mac OS X Lion, in his 2011 World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) keynote in San Francisco.
