Looking something fun to do with all you Easter and Passover photos? Try Halftone. This $0.99 iPhone app turns your photos into vintage looking comic book frames. First the app has you pick your paper style (taped, water damaged, etc.). Once you have the paper style set, then you can add a variety of captions to your images. Finally, the Halftone app adds a halftone-style printing effect to your photos to give them a unique, vintage look.
Chad Curlow aka Kotchy, a nickname given to him by his grandmother at birth, is a musician who's sound can't be fit into a box even if you tried. With his mix of Electronic, Pop and Hip Hop he creates a genre that is all his own. This up and coming artist is "Older than I feel." and insists that "It's not about where you're from, but where you're at. (referencing the great Outkast)." If you haven't heard of Dropbox yet, then get ready to be WOWed. Dropbox is probably the easiest way to sync, store and, share files online. There's no complicated interface to learn. Dropbox just installs a folder on your Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computers that seamlessly syncs with their servers. You can access your files on any of your computers or via a web interface.
I got a Dropbox account in 2008 when it first was in Beta. They brought Cloud storage when "Cloud" wasn't even a buzzword. Fast forward 2 ½ years, Dropbox is long out of beta and still not only useful, but also adaptive; 3rd party services like Frenzy and Views.fm can bring an enhanced experience to your Dropbox.

Last week, an IBM supercomputer named Watson kicked the s%$* out of his human competition on Jeopardy!. Represented solely by its name on the contestant podium, Watson didn't have much of a physical presence to the TV audience. However it was Watson's knowledge that captured everyone attention and stole the show. The massive IBM supercomputer was designed to recognize language and synthesize answers from a preposterous amount of preprogrammed information. After analizing a question, Watson would process the information and could buzz in as fast as 10 milliseconds. Essentially making it impossible for humanoid competition to beat.
Last week, ABC unveiled its Grey's Anatomy Sync app for the iPad. Powered by Nielsen's "Media-Synch" platform, the app is designed to be used while watching first-run episodes - prompting viewers to participate in live polls, answer trivia questions and view and share behind-the-scenes insights into what they're seeing on screen.
