Even though the Watchmen movie is still months away, the hype surrounding the film continues to boil across the blogosphere.
In addition to an iTunes motion comic of the film and beautiful movie posters, Warner Bros. is regularly releasing promotional interview vignettes with director Zack Snyder.
Watchmen Girls Kick Ass Video
The latest Watchmen vignette is titled “Girls Kick Ass.” In the video, Snyder talks about his female stars, Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino, the importance of their characters in the foundation of the story and basically how they kick ass.

Carla Gugino plays the original Silk Spectre (Sally Jupiter), in the film and Malin Akerman plays her daughter Laurie Juspeczyk, who fights crime under the name Silk Spectre II.
Zack Snyder’s upcoming Watchmen movie, based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons‘ classic graphic novel, premieres in U.S. theaters on March 6, 2009.
