If you frequently fly on Ryanair airlines, then you might want to make sure you use the bathroom at the airport before getting onto the plane. The European budget carrier plans to instate a Ryanair Toilet Fee for all Ryanair passengers to use the bathroom on their planes.

Are you starting to feel like airlines are making you pay for every little thing these days? Some of the items that we are already incurring additional fees include movies, food, baggage, seat selections, boarding early and the list goes on. There was at least one thing that passengers didn’t have to pay for, the toilet. But not anymore.
Ryanair Pay Toilets
Michael O’Leary, the CEO Ryanair, is seriously considering creating a Ryanair toilet fee and charging passengers for toilet access on his planes. He also wants to reduce the number of bathrooms on his fleet from three to one. He’s already asked Boing too add credit card readers to bathroom doors. How much will the Ryanair toilets cost? The credit card readers will charge £1, or about $1.60 per swipe.
Removing the extra bathrooms will help make each flight more profitable by replacing them with six more passenger seats.
A Possible Strategy To Fight The Ryanair Toilet Fee
So far Europeans are outraged at the Ryanair pay toilets. But if they really want to stop the Ryanair toilet fee from becoming a reality, then they should start boycotting beverage cart sales. Fewer passengers drinking will result in fewer toilet fees and beverage sales. Maybe that will be enough to get the Ryanair CEO to change his mind.
