People Being Considered For The Disney CEO Role
Everyone from eBay CEO Meg Whitman to Yahoo Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Terry Semel is both being considered for the job. However, one person, in particular, is getting a lot of buzz about filling Disney’s top spot, Steve Jobs, the chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios Inc. and Apple Computer.
Steve Jobs Disney CEO: Does He Even Want The Job?
Is Jobs the right guy for the job? Yes. He started the 3D animation wave with Pixar’s Toy Story. He knows the future. Disney’s 2D animation days are over. New leadership is needed at Disney ASAP. The “Magic Kingdom” has become a creative wasteland. The only good films that Disney has been connected with have been done by Pixar. A Steve Jobs Disney would take the studio and their theme parks into the future. The only question is, does Jobs even want the job?
