The Search And Rescue Hero Dogs Of 911
The 911 dogs or “hero dogs” as they were nicknamed, searched day and night after the 9/11 terrorist attacks for survivors. And when there was no one else left to rescue, the 911 search dogs then helped recover remains.
The World Trade Center was a toxic and dangerous environment. As a result, the 911 dogs suffered many of the same health complications as the rescue workers.
The 911 Dogs: Gone But Not Forgotten
Because of the toxic area that they worked while trying to rescue survivors and recover bodies, health issues caused many of the 911 dogs to pass on before their time. Please don’t forget to include these unsung four-legged heroes in your remembrance of September 11th.

I’m using WordPress as a blog platform, so I have no access to plugins to fix anything. I used to use WP for all my domains, but never again. The new editor is a nightmare. iframes don’t work, it’s totally impossible to get what I want when posting from a phone, as I can’t toggle between having the touch keyboard on screen or not, I can’t post images to a gallery without it being all screwed up, I can’t edit images without having to edit the metadata on the thumnail, the medium size and the full size, everything is a pain in the bum. Goodbye WP, you’ll nevet see me again.
WordPress shouts that I must upgrade to the business plan to install plug-ins. I pay for the personal plan, all that I can afford scraping by on a low-paying military disability check can afford. Thus, I am forced to use that HORRIBLE mess that supposedly can be gotten around, according to the Help Desk folks by choosing classic editor from the drop-down menu. Nope. Repeated tries and old functionality does not exist. After an hour of trying to embed a link in a new post I gave up. And after many years of WordPress I now seek a new blog offering. It was great while it lasted.
For Pete’s sake! I tried this method of installing the classic editor plug-in, but they’ve disabled the install button. They now want you to pay to install this supposedly “free” plug-in. Any other alternatives to get the classic editor back?

Same here, they want me to pay to be able to have a workable editor. I’m not paying for a business plan for a blog that I only post to occasionally. I hate to have to find a new platform, but if they can’t give everybody the “classic editor” option, I’m going to have to start looking. Crap.
