Like to listen to music on your iPod while working out? Too bad says the NBA. The National Basketball Association notified Toronto Raptors‘ shooting guard, Vince Carter, that he was no longer allowed to use his iPod during pregame warm-ups because it violates the league’s dress code.
“Everyone has to be the same,” NBA spokesman, Brian McIntyre told C|NET. “It’s just the uniform guidelines.”
Vince Carter fired back and told Toronto newspaper, The Globe and Mail, that his pregame routine will suffer without music.
“I like to listen to music when I’m working out,” Carter explained. “I focus in when I have music on.”
What do you think? Should NBA players be allowed to listen to music before games?
