Dachshund’s Playful Encounter with Roman Candle Firework Goes Viral

Yikes! As a dog owner, I have to admit that this dachshund roman candle video scares me a little. As you can see, a fearless Dachshund (aka “hot dog” dog) decided to grab a lit Roman Candle firework and run around with it in his mouth. Obviously a very dangerous situation for both the dog and anyone else within fireball range of the Roman Candle. Hopefully, no one got hurt, because this is a very funny pet video.

Nothing says Fourth of July like fireworks and hot dogs. But for one family with a Dachshund, the holiday was about to take a turn for the unexpected.

While everyone was having a great time watching the fireworks, a Dachshund unexpectedly had the brilliant idea to grab a lit Roman Candle firecracker. Apparently, the long firework looked just like a new stick. He walked over to it and picked it up in his mouth.

The dog’s family was both horrified and amused. They knew that Roman candles could be dangerous, and they didn’t want the Dachshund to get hurt. But it was hilarious.

The Dachshund ran around the yard as the Roman candle shot sparks and flames into the air. Bystanders were caught off guard by the sudden commotion, and some of them even ran away laughing.

The Dachshund’s family chased after him, but they couldn’t catch him. The dog was too fast and too agile. After a few moments, the Roman candle finally burned out.

Everybody learned a valuable lesson that day: never leave fireworks unattended, especially around curious dogs.
