Pop culture entertainment tends to mirror the real world, especially when it comes to bad guys. Hollywood gave us a variety of German, Vietnamese, Cuban, Korean, Chinese and Russian villains in films like Firefox, Rambo, Red Dawn, and Top Gun during the Cold War. Video game villains weren’t any different. Rush’n Attack, Contra, and Raid Over Moscow were some of my favorite games from the last 20-years. If America was threatened by it, then pop culture entertainment dramatized it.

In the game, Homefront, Korea reunited.
hi juno. we understand how you feel and where there was confusion. South Korea is a strong ally of the United States. however in the video game Homefront, North and South Korea reunite into one nation called “Korea.” you can read more about Homefront on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homefront_(video_game)
It’s North Korea, as opposed to ‘Korea’ which isn’t a country. Get it right, as it can be insulting since South Korea is an ally.
