YouTube might be a worldwide phenomenon, but that’s no solace to Brazilians who are currently being shut out of having access.
A day after part of the country had the service shut down by Internet server Telefonica, the nation’s populous southern region have the site currently blocked today as well. This is in response to a judicial order banning a sexy video of supermodel Daniela Cicarelli.
The video shows Cicarelli and Brazilian banker Renato Malzoni being intimate near the Spanish city of Cadiz. Last September the couple sued YouTube and won an injunction for the removal of the video.
YouTube was acquired by Google in November for approximately $1.76 billion
