Important message from Bravo president Lauren Zalaznik:
I wanted to give you a quick update on the NBCU Green Council’s progress since forming in May and, more importantly, take the first step in setting the Green Council’s priorities by asking you for a few minutes of your time to complete a very short green survey. Click here to begin.
I’m pleased to say we have some great momentum going already.
To date, we have formed the Green Council task force, which is comprised of business leaders representing all of NBCU’s divisions across the company and whose job it is to set the agenda and keep tabs on all cross-company initiatives.
We announced “Green Week,” an unprecedented company-wide week-long programming effort in which every division from News, Sports and Entertainment to our International markets, Theme Parks, Stations group and beyond will devote their resources and time to help raise awareness, educate and activate consumers about environment al causes , Nov. 4-10. There will be many more announcements as we get closer to November.
These are only the first steps, but we need your involvement to make a difference beyond “Green Week.”
What does “green” mean to you?
How do you think we should help from a pro-social standpoint?
What role does the company play in terms of responsibility?
Your input is important and will help guide the Green Council’s priorities and next steps.
You can link to the survey through this email or go to it directly through inside NBC Universal, our company intranet. And of course we’ve added a little green incentive (literally and figuratively) – all those who participate in the survey can enter a raffle to win a $500 gift certificate to the GE Store to put toward energy efficient products or appliances.
Thanks in advance for your time. We really appreciate your feedback.
Lauren
