Watch out New Yorkers! Sony wants your attention and they think their “living mannequins” will get it. In a campaign to promote Sony’s new Sony VAIO Lifestyle PC, a squad of models holding VAIO laptops will freeze in place in public places. The campaign kicked-off this week in Grand Central Station.
Why the models? It’s a Fashion Week tie-in. Frozen models with laptops. Am I the only person who thinks this is creepy?
New York City‘s Grand Central Station has long been a popular target for marketing stunts. One of our favorites was Improv Everywhere’s Frozen Grand Central.
