NBCSports.com says it set records for page views and unique users, recording 9.14 million views and attracting over 2 million uniques. The site delivered more than 1.5 million streams of the epic US open duel between Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate, with each stream averaging 17 minutes in duration. Those stats should help build the kind of sponsorship CBS attracted to the Final Four tourney next time around.
