Conan O’Brien is only days away from moving his late-night talk show one hour earlier to the coveted Tonight Show position. There’s been a lot of speculation on who Conan would book for his first Tonight Show episode, but it looks like he’s locked up his guests.
Pearl Jam Booked For Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show Debut
According to Pearl Jam‘s website, the Seattle-based rock is scheduled to perform as the musical guest for Conan’s Tonight Show debut. They will be joined by SNL alumni, Will Ferrell, who will be Conan’s first talk show guest.
Conan’s Move From Late Night To The Tonight Show
Pearl Jam is scheduled to appear as the inaugural musical guest for the June 1, 2009 premiere of “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.” The band will perform songs from their upcoming studio album, Backspacer.
Conan O’Brien has hosted “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” at 12:35 AM (ET) since taking over for David Letterman in 1993. But on June 1, 2009, Conan will succeed Jay Leno as host of “The Tonight Show.”
