Caught On Camera
This baby stroller train accident in Australia was all captured on CCTV. Security video footage released last Friday shows the mother, Shweta Verma, briefly looking away to adjust her clothing. The stroller then suddenly rolls off the edge of a station platform and onto the tracks just as a train is approaching. For a moment it looks like the 29-year-old mother, might leap onto the tracks after the baby. Reports says the train was traveling at 20 mph.
Baby Doing OK After Being Hit By Train
The train engineer was horrified when he saw the stroller fall in front of his train. He applied the brakes, but the train still pushed the stroller about 130 feet along the tracks before it stopped. Luckily the six-month-old baby named Saurish, suffered only a bump to his head. Hopefully mom will keep a closer eye on the stroller for now on. Dangerous Stroller Use
This story kind of reminds us of the Lazy Segway Mom. Remember that? The internet was outraged over a mom that used a Segway to push a baby stroller across the street.
