The Dog House
If you love dogs and don’t mind catching looks from confused neighbors, then maybe the Dog Bark Park Inn is for you. This gigantic doghouse apartment is located in Cottonwood, Idaho and is sure to provide a unique Airbnb experiences. Unlike in the movie The Godfather, you don’t have to get killed by the mob to sleep with the fishes. This Airbnb contest called “The Shark Aquarium” gave one lucky couple a chance to spend the night in a small glass bedroom surrounded by sharks. Unfortunately, the contest ended in 2016, but who knows, maybe Airbnb will do it again.

What this parking lot Airbnb lacks in features and common necessities, like a bathroom and a roof, it makes up for in price. It’s only $11.30 per night.
If you’d rather have a clean bed and a roof, you can still find dozens of Airbnb deals in London for under $30 a night. Just be prepared to share a bunk in a room with up to a dozen strangers.
If winter camping in Northern Europe sounds like fun to you, then you should try this search for snow igloo Airbnb rentals. There are hundreds to choose from, from Finland to Alaska. Prices vary from $75 – $150 per night depending on the location, igloo size, and other amenities, but it could be a fun way to experience the Northern Lights.
Not all igloos are made out of snow. If you’d rather have a warmer and dryer igloo experience, there are some igloo-shaped buildings or glass igloos that might be a little more fun for the average traveler. These typically cost $300+ per night.

This cute Gingerbread House is on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Not only is it centrally located (20 mins to the airport, 10 mins to the beach and 2 minutes to shopping), but Jimi Hendrix himself once stayed in this unique rental back in 1970. Don’t worry, it’s been remodeled since then.
The Seashell House
This beautiful abstract house on the island of Isla Mujeres is just a short ferry ride from Cancun, Mexico. Known as the “The Seashell House“, this unique Airbnb is located inside a gated property and features a private pool, 2 king beds, a kitchenette, Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

If you’re looking for a fun group activity on the water, then you might want to rent an entire yacht on Airbnb. Captains around the world have opened up their boats to Airbnb customers and will even take you out on a variety of excursions including sunset cruses, fishing, snorkeling and more.
